Creative Resourcing, a specialist recruiter working within the manufacturing sector are currently seeking Logistics Co-ordinators to work for one of our prestigious pharmaceutical clients.


The purpose of this multi-functional role is to plan and prepare, goods in and out movements to ensure timely and accurate receipt and despatch of goods in accordance with customer needs.  The Logistic Coordinator will also liaise and cooperate with the Logistic Team leader within the warehouse to ensure site KPIs are met.  The Logistic Coordinator will ensure goods in deliveries are scheduled, coordinated, stored and documentation completed in real-time.  Further, the Logistic Coordinator will liaise with CTM to plan despatch and coordinate the preparation of goods outward movements to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements with Logistic Team Leaders.

In order to achieve this, Logistic Coordinator will:

Ensure accurate and efficient processing, control and management of all goods inward transactions and movements including document completion.

Understand the BFS/PFS operational plan; to ensure site shipping schedule is met.

Plan and prepare goods outward movements (where required); coordinating with Logistic Team Leader and Logistic Practitioner to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of finished product including document completion.

To trouble shoot and resolve warehouse issues in a quick and effective manner, to contribute to the achievement of site performance targets.



Make sure you are up to date with SOPG/WI and TARs and that they are present within your training file.

Make known any training requirements and ensure colleagues attend training sessions when provided.

Provide training to other members of warehouse as required.

Management of the Warehouse process; functional duties:


 Ensure all goods in and outward movements are planned and coordinated effectively by working with despatch and Logistic teams.

Perform a suitable handover with Logistic Team Leaders to ensure the smooth processing of goods.

Work towards site KPIs.

Perform documentation reviews of work carried out by Logistic Practitioner in real-time.

Provide coaching and mentoring to the warehouse team where required. 

Inward transactions-liaise with Logistic team leader to ensure:

All deliveries are coordinated and processed within a timely manner and stored in accordance with company processes.

Ensure documentation is completed in real-time and filed accordingly to meet compliance requirements.

Ensure any problems or issues are communicated effectively and corrective actions are robust to ensure requirements are met.

Operational duties-work with customers to ensure:

Knowledge of manufacturing and release schedule.

Plan in finished goods despatch based on release schedule.

Work with validation staff to ensure transport routes are compliant.

Outward transactions- liaise with Logistic team leaders to ensure:

Plan / prepare goods outwards movements to ensure accurate loading and despatch of finished goods.

Liaise with transport carriers to arrange / schedule collections to meet customer needs.

Ensure documentation, including invoicing is completed in real-time accurately.

Assist with accurate keeping of stock and their records.

QIR/CAPA/Docs for warehouse related problems:

Ensure logbooks are completed fully in real-time to clearly document any issues or breakdown/repair completed within warehouse.

Where applicable complete QIR or CAPA with full details to make the correct assessment of risk for the finished packed batch.

Where applicable complete customer complaints within a timely manner and implement robust CAPA to resolve issues.

Develop and support CIs through use of Visual management boards:

Health and safety:

Lead the development of a proactive EHS culture within warehouse.

Encourage reporting of near misses and unsafe conditions.

Use the visual management boards to make EHS performance (and improvements) visible.

Escalate EHS issues that require support from other department


Level 5 qualification - HND or above in Logistic or engineering / scientific field. 

Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment (although not essential).

Previous managerial/supervisory experience.

FLT licence would be advantageous.

Ideally competent in SAP processing.

Proven experience in a progressive high speed environment.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry (Pharma, Hi-tech or FMCG).

Communicator/motivator/team player.

Able to deliver high performance standards.

High Attention to detail required.


Our client is offering a salary of £33,600 + £6729 shift allowance (Days & Nights 6/6) coupled with an excellent remuneration package.
