Creative Resourcing, a specialist recruiter working within the manufacturing sector are currently seeking Logistics Team Leaders to work for one of our prestigious pharmaceutical clients.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this multi-skilled role is to Lead warehouse staff who operate across the three areas within the warehouse. 

The Logistic Team Leader will
ensure deliveries are processed and coordinated; ensure production needs are met throughout BFS (Blow Fill Seal) and PFS (Pre-filled syringe) by ensuring staff are picking /replenishing components and product in a timely manner and plan/prepare goods outward movements to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements with Logistic Practitioners.

In order to achieve this, the Logistic Team Leader will work with the Logistic Coordinator and Logistic Practitioners to:

Ensure accurate and efficient processing, control and management of all goods inward transactions and movements including document completion.

Understand the BFS/PFS operational plan; and pick, replenish, load and store product and components to ensure the production plan is met

Plan, prepare goods outward movements; coordinating with Logistic Coordinator and Logistic Practioner to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of finished product including document completion.

To trouble shoot and resolve warehouse issues in a quick and effective manner, to contribute to the achievement of site performance targets.

THE ROLE

Key Results Area

Training

Make sure you and your team are up to date with SOPG/WI and TARs and that they are present within your training file.

Make known any training requirements and ensure colleagues attend training sessions when provided.

Provide training to other members of warehouse as required.

Management of the Warehouse process; functional duties:

Perform a suitable handover with the oncoming shift.

Have working knowledge of the processes and procedures within the warehouse.

Work towards site KPIs.

Perform documentation reviews of work carried out by your team in real-time.

Provide coaching and mentoring to the warehouse team where required 

Inward transactions-be capable of the following and ensure Logistic Practitioner:

Process all deliveries within timely manner in accordance with company processes.  Perform a suitable handover with oncoming shift.

Coordinate all finished goods sample requests from receipt to dispatch in cooperation with operational CTLs.

Ensure documentation is completed in real-time and filed accordingly to meet compliance requirements.

Ensure any problems or issues are communicated effectively and corrective actions are robust to ensure requirements are met.

Operational duties-be capable of the following and ensure Logistic Practitioner:

Pick, replenish, load and store components/product to facilitate the production plan in BFS/PFS

Perform SAP transactions and physical movements of stock accurately and in a timely manner

Perform cycle counting, to measure stock accuracy and investigate any inaccuracy of records.

Outward transactions-be capable of the following and ensure Logistic Practitioner:

Plan / prepare goods outwards movements to ensure accurate loading and dispatch of finished goods.

Liaise with transport carriers to arrange / schedule collections to meet customer needs.

Ensure documentation, including invoicing is completed in real-time accurately.

Assist with accurate keeping of stock and their records.

QIR/CAPA/Docs for warehouse related problems:

Ensure logbooks are completed fully in real-time to clearly document any issues or breakdown/repair completed within warehouse.

Where applicable complete QIR or CAPA with full details to make the correct assessment of risk for the finished packed batch or component within warehouse.

Develop and support CIs through use of Visual management boards:

Health and safety

Lead the development of a proactive EHS culture within your team.

Encourage reporting of near misses and unsafe conditions.

Use the visual management boards to make EHS performance (and improvements) visible.

Escalate EHS issues that require support from other departments.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Level 5 qualification - HND or above in Logistic or engineering / scientific field. 

Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment (although not essential).

Previous managerial/supervisory experience.

FLT license would be advantageous.

Ideally competent in SAP processing.

Proven experience in a progressive high speed environment.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry (Pharma, Hi-tech or FMCG).

Communicator/motivator/team player.

Able to deliver high performance standards.

High Attention to detail required.

REMUNERATION

Our client is offering a salary of £33,600 + £6729 shift allowance (Days & Nights 6/6) coupled with an excellent remuneration package.
