Creative Resourcing, a specialist recruiter working within the manufacturing sector are currently seeking Logistics operators to work for one of our prestigious pharmaceutical clients.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this multi-functional role is to operate within the warehouse. 

  • The Logistic Operator will process and coordinate deliveries; ensure production needs are met throughout BFS (Blow FillSeal) and PFS (Pre-filledsyringe) by picking/replenishing components and product in a timely manner and plan/ prepare goods outward movements to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • In order to achieve this, the Logistic Operator will:
  • Where required work with the Logistic Practioners to process goods inward transactions and movements including document completion.
  • Understand the BFS/PFSoperational plan; and pick, replenish, load and store product and components to ensure the production plan is met.
  • Where required work with the Logistic Practioners to ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of finished product including document completion
  • To trouble shoot and resolve warehouse issues in a quick and effective manner, to contribute to the achievement of site performance targets.

THE ROLE

1)Training:

  • a)Your own, make sure you are up to date with SOPG/WI and TARs and that they are present within your training file
  • b)Make known any training requirements and attend training sessions when provided
  • c)Provide training to other members of your cell or shift as required

2)Functional duties:

  • Pick, replenish, load and store components/product to facilitate the production plan in BFS/PFS.
  • Perform SAP transactions and physical movements of stock accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform cycle counting, to measure stock accuracy and investigate any inaccuracy of records.
  • Maintain housekeeping compliance in stores, according to cGMP and regulatory requirements
  • Process all deliveries within a timely manner in accordance with company processes.  Perform a suitable handover with oncoming shift.
  • Ensure documentation is completed in real-time and filed accordingly to meet compliance requirements.
  • Ensure any problems or issues are communicated effectively and corrective actions are robust to ensure requirements are met.
  • Assist with accurate keeping of stock and their records

3)QIR/CAPA/Docs for warehouse related problems

  • a) Ensure logbooks are completed fully in real-time to clearly document any issuesor breakdown/repair completed within warehouse.
  • b) Where applicable provide detailed information regarding any issues in the warehouse to enable the Logistic Practioners/ Logistic team leader to complete QIR or CAPA with full details to enable the Logistic team leader to make the correct assessment of risk for the finished packed batch
4) Develop and support CIs through visual management boards.
  • a) Be vigilant to identify EHS issues (near-misses, unsafe conditions) and opportunities for improvement.
  • b) Maintain awareness of EHS requirements (SOPs, Risk Assessments etc.)
  • c) Always think about your own safety and the safety of your colleagues.
  • d) Maintain housekeeping levels to company standard.

REMUNERATION

Our client is offering a salary of £17,890 inclusive of shift allowance coupled with anexcellent remuneration package.
