Senior QC Chemistry Analyst (PHARMACEUTICAL)

Up to £28,500 Days (9-5)

Creative Resourcing, a specialist recruiter working within the manufacturing sector are currently seeking a QC Chemistry Analyst to work for one of our prestigious pharmaceutical clients.  They are a forward thinking company and progression from within is very much part of their ethos.


To provide support within the Quality Control Chemistry and Distribution Centre functions. Deliver all testing and administration activities on schedule maintaining cGMP, Health, Safety & Environment, Regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Results areas are:

• To check and approve all batch documentation, (Product and starting materials) Rolling review/ corrective actions and procedure updates in accordance with company policies, customer and regulatory requirements;
• To provide testing support when required for raw materials, bulk and finished product. Assist with analytical method transfer/ validation activities from New Product Development to QC in accordance with business objectives and requirements. Revalidate methods to suite new practices and to enhance the laboratories performance;
• To assist with compilation of product review reports in accordance with company procedure;
• To manage and maintain all QC lab instrumentation (calibration, qualifications etc) including identification and implementation of new technology and assist in generation of validation protocols;
• To train laboratory personnel in routine analytical techniques;
• To deputise for the Section Leader as required, including checking & approval of batch and other appropriate documentation, and support Shift Team Leaders.


Applicants should have the following experience/qualifications:

• Must have a Degree in a relevant science discipline;
• Relevant experience of working within the Pharmaceutical industry;
• Knowledge of cGMP/ cGLP & SAP;
• Good knowledge of company policies, procedures and standards;
• Knowledge of regulatory and customer requirements;
• Experience in Analytical Techniques;
• Technical report writing skills;
• Analytical instrumentation skills.
