Creative Resourcing, a specialist recruiter working within the manufacturing sector are currently seeking a QA Team Leader to work for one of our prestigious pharmaceutical clients.

The purpose of the role is to Support and develop Quality Assurance Officers to implement and maintain quality standards and systems to ensure that products comply with Marketing Authorisations, specifications and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).

Key Results areas are:

To support Quality Assurance Officers. Providing support and coaching to the team;
To manage approval plan activities to ensure plan adherence;
To review and approve quality control documentation to ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP);
To prepare and complete product quality reviews, quality reports and stability reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
To close out failure investigations and preventative actions to reduce repeat failures ensuring site targets for close out of actions are achieved;
To review and approve batch manufacturing documentation within agreed timelines to support product release - meeting approval plan requirements;
To carry out audits to support the identification, auctioning and close out of non-compliance issues;
To support the QA Operations team as required with day to day activities within the Quality Assurance role.


Must have a degree in a scientific discipline;
Previous experience of working in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry;
Must have sterile manufacturing experience;
Good understanding of validation principles and procedures;
Good understanding of utilities, facilities, equipment and process validation requirements;
Knowledge of EU & US regulatory guidelines and the product licensing processes;
Knowledge of GMP requirements in relation to sterile product manufacture and packaging;
Knowledge of the principles of sterilisation and aseptic processing;
Understanding of root cause analysis and risk management.

Our client is offering a salary of up to £45,000 coupled with an excellent remuneration package.
